Nightscapes
When you go out aurora hunting there's only one thing that is guaranteed, you'll spend a lot of time looking at and photographing the night sky. What an amazing bonus, hey! I'm always getting lost in awe staring at a starry night sky...it's my second most favourite way to experience awe. The darker the location the more totally awesome it gets.
I've still on a learning journey photographing nightscapes, here are some images I've taken waiting for auroras to show up. As we move away from Solar Max I have started focusing more on improving my Milky Way shots!

I acknowledge the Gundijtmara people, the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which I live, work & photograph. I pay my respects to their Elders, past and present. I recognise the continuous connection of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to land, water and Country.
